Role Overview

Asst Manager/ Manager: Language Proficiency and Soft Skills Training

  • Conduct

    language proficiency

    ,

    soft skills

    , and

    business etiquette

    training programs, ensuring communication standards required for a

    best-in-class patient experience

    .
  • Customize training interventions based on the specific needs of the nursing workforce within the region, taking into account

    cultural and professional nuances

    .
  • Design and conduct

    Training Needs Identification (TNI)

    and

    Training Needs Analysis (TNA)

    to develop targeted programs addressing

    communication skill gaps

    .
  • Ensure training programs align with

    CEFR standards

    , particularly for language proficiency.
  • Provide

    on-the-ground support

    and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting content and delivery to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Assist in

    communication-related grievance resolution

    , supporting efforts to correct and prevent issues related to professional conduct and communication.
  • Maintain and track a

    training database

    for language proficiency across members, units, and regions, benchmarking against

    Pan-India and global standards

    .
  • Represent the training function at

    leadership meetings

    to suggest impactful training solutions tailored for the region.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in

    language proficiency

    ,

    communication

    ,

    soft skills

    , or

    etiquette training

    , preferably within healthcare or hospitality sectors.
  • Experience in the aviation / hotel industry

    will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in the

    local language

    (Mandatory) and strong communication skills.
  • Experience in tailoring training programs to meet

    regional needs

    , ensuring they address cultural and operational nuances.
  • Familiarity with

    Instructional Design (ID)

    and

    adult learning principles

    .
  • Strong ability to

    measure training effectiveness

    and apply insights to improve program delivery.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work with

    regional hospital leadership

    and other stakeholders to ensure training relevance.

Job Performance Metrics:

  • Successfully deliver

    language proficiency

    ,

    soft skills

    , and

    etiquette training

    to

    1500-2000 nursing staff

    members.
  • Measure and enhance language proficiency, ensuring that staff communication aligns with

    CEFR standards

    .
  • Achieve high levels of

    training engagement

    and positive feedback from nursing staff, reflected in improved communication and patient care.
  • Collaborate effectively with

    regional hospital leadership

    to ensure training programs address localized needs.
  • Support communication-related grievance resolution, contributing to

    improved NPS scores

    and reduced patient complaints.

Reporting:

  • This role will report to the

    Senior Manager: Professional Development and Behavioural Coach

    .

Work Location & Travel:

  • Based at the regional headquarters with travel required

    within the region

    , approximately

    50% of the time

    for training delivery.
