Commodity Manager (Indirect Materials/Resale)

As a Sourcing Manager at Gates Corporation, your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and qualifying new components, processes, and suppliers, as well as supporting issues with current production, outsourcing, and increasing capacity. - Auditing suppliers to ensure process conformance and making necessary coordination between departments for flawless launches with suppliers. Your specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas: - Managing all matters related to the cost of supply for assigned categories. - Establishing and implementing strategies to optimize costs, working capital, and terms. - Leading procurement activities such as sourcing events, negotiations, data analysis, projects, and supplier development. You will also be responsible for ensuring material flow of assigned categories into respective Gates sites, managing supplier performance and capacity, developing poor performing suppliers, and conducting recurring business reviews with assigned suppliers. Key Qualifications and Skills: - Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the Sourcing area. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical. - Total work experience of 12 years. In this role, you will report to the Director of Sourcing, East Asia & India, and support him in achieving the business objectives of the company.,
