Job Description

Commis 2 Duties & Responsibilities

A Commis 2 (junior kitchen role) assists in food preparation and supports senior chefs in a la carte.

Core Daily Duties

Prepare mise-en-place: Chop, portion, and organize ingredients per recipes and station needs.
Assist Chef de Partie/Commis 1 in cooking, plating, and presenting dishes to quality standards.
Maintain workstation cleanliness, sanitize equipment, and follow HACCP hygiene protocols.
Stock/re-stock kitchen items, check inventory, and rotate stock (FIFO system).
Operate basic equipment (grills, ovens, fryers) and monitor food temperatures.
Support buffet setups, clear used items, and minimize waste/costs.
Acknowledge shift handovers, attend briefings, and report issues to supervisors.

Location: Nesco Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (Mumbai)/ Palladium Mall Ahmedabad

Cuisine: Continental

CTC: 21K + Service charge. No accommodation in Mumbai.

Accommodation provided in Ahmedabad.
