Job Description

Role Overview: As a Commercial Accountant - Assistant Manager in the Finance & Accounts department, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end commercial accounting activities to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced business environment and utilizing your strong understanding of accounting principles and commercial operations. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, billing, and reconciliation of customer and vendor accounts. - Manage Goods Received Note (GRN), stock accounting, and cost sheet analysis. - Assist in monthly and quarterly closing processes including preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and MIS reports. - Support internal and statutory audits by providing relevant data and analysis. - Ensure GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliances specific to commercial transactions. - Coordinate with sales, logistics, procurement, and store teams for smooth operational execution. - Continuously review commercial processes and suggest improvements to reduce leakages and enhance efficiency. Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter - Additional certifications in finance or ERP software is a plus. - Preferred Industry Experience: Retail / Trading / Distribution Additional Details: The company offers health insurance, provident fund, yearly bonus, and follows a day shift schedule for the full-time job position. The work location is in person.
