For further information about Nomura, visit www.nomura.com Department overview: Nomura s NEHS Legal, Compliance & Controls (LCC) department works to offer advice, guidance and oversight to the business on all matters related to regulatory compliance in the region. The team works very closely with all departments across the firm and with other LCC teams in Nomura globally to offer consistent advice and solutions in a rapidly changing and evolving regulatory environment. Team overview: The Global Compliance Training team is responsible for ensuring LCC training is engaging, effective and issued to the correct global audiences to an agreed schedule. The team also ensure training is accurately tracked, monitored and reported on. Delivering effective training solutions is pivotal to the team and we use a mixture of solutions including face to face sessions, question based training, microlearining and eLearning. The work of the Instructional Designer includes: Course Development - designing and developing interactive online Compliance courses (microlearning and eLearning) suitable for global learners Course Design - applying online course design principles and minimum standards to produce professional and engaging material Collaboration - working closely with internal global teams to gather and interpret detailed content and turning this into effective and engaging learning Project management - prioritising work to align with the team priorities and requirements of the Global Compliance Training Manager and working to multiple deadlines Authoring courses - working with vendor tools using functionality including AI, avatars and video creation Vendor management - working closely with vendors to ensure the smooth running of authoring tools Course testing - ensuring courses are fully tested with working functionality.
