As a Debt Collector, your primary responsibility will be to investigate and resolve any disputes or issues related to outstanding debts. You will need to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, specifically the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Monitoring accounts receivable aging reports and prioritizing collection efforts based on delinquency status will also be a key part of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve effectively, and multitask will be crucial. A good understanding of debt collection laws and regulations is essential, along with prior experience in accounts receivable or related fields. You should also be adept at handling customer queries and resolving issues promptly. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for fresher candidates.
