Collections Manager

Job Description

Responsible for the timely billing and collection of billing charges from customers. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on day-to-day billing and collection operations.

Responsibilities

Work with the revenue team to ensure that accruals are set at the correct level.

Oversee all aspects of advertising billing, new Accounts, and circulation billing Team.

Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies.

Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.

Perform periodic checks on customers outstanding /debts on system, Inform Sales and on the outages.

Follows up with personal visits by relationship managers, telephone inquiries and letters to customers to process claims for outstanding account.

Address invoice and billing discrepancies

Lead the monthly audit process for the function.

Ensure billing accuracy and delivery of billing information to customers.

Minimum qualification & experience

Any Graduate with Min of 5+ years of experience in Account Receivables.

Should have experience in handling Enterprise, SME, whole sale collections....

Local language (Malayalam) is must.

accounting experience

Should be well versed with Collection process.

Able to Do RECONCILIATIONS.
