COE Analyst-1

You will be responsible for ensuring supply and service assurance, as well as vendor management of spend to support the assigned site(s). Your role as a COE Buyer involves resolving price discrepancies and supply disputes with vendors to meet site demand efficiently and cost-effectively. Additionally, you will be tasked with sourcing and managing vendors to support plants, participating in Tail Spend sourcing initiatives, and negotiating tail spend for the assigned site(s). Your duties will also include implementing procurement policies and procedures, responding to plant requests promptly and taking ownership of the process. It is crucial for you to have a good understanding of market dynamics, economic conditions, and business practices. Building a strong supplier network, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring continuity of supply/services for designated sites will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with planning and manufacturing teams to address supply shortages and production issues is essential. You will manage local sourcing for the assigned plant(s) and regional sourcing portfolio in alignment with Global Procurement policies, systems, and procedures. Additionally, you will be handling a shared mailbox and executing Tail Spend strategy, including basic tail management tasks such as creating, maintaining, and approving suppliers based on stakeholders" requests. Developing and managing internal relationships with various teams such as IC&D Team, Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal, Quality, and GRA, as well as external relationships with suppliers and potential supply partners, are crucial for the efficient execution of purchasing strategies. Staying informed about business needs, product changes, forecasts, and critical product demand is key to your role. You will be responsible for creating leveraged agreements as needed and documenting accomplishments in appropriate systems.
