Coddle Technologies - Software Test Engineer

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, design test cases, and execute test plans.
• Perform manual testing - functional, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, and UI testing.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium (Java or similar).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies - daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, BA, and product owners to resolve issues.
• Document test results and provide QA status reports.
• Continuously contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in software testing (Manual + Automation).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java (or similar automation frameworks).
• Experience with writing and executing test scripts.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication.
  

Good To Have

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
