Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with 2 years of hands-on experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of visual design, interaction design, and front-end development fundamentals. You will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms, with a focus on CMS and eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma or Adobe XD
  • Create high-quality visual designs using tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Develop responsive web pages with HTML, CSS, SCSS, and jQuery
  • Collaborate with developers using tools like Zeplin and InVision to ensure seamless implementation
  • Build and customize UI themes/templates for CMS and eCommerce platforms like WordPress, Drupal, and Magento
  • Apply responsive design principles and Bootstrap framework for cross-platform compatibility
  • Implement front-end templates for frameworks such as React and Angular
  • Work with version control systems (Git) to manage design and development codebase
  • Participate in design reviews, usability testing, and user research activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and/or Adobe XD
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, SCSS, and jQuery
  • Experience with Zeplin, InVision, or similar hand-off tools
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design and Bootstrap framework
  • Basic working knowledge of templating in React and Angular
  • Hands-on experience in designing for WordPress, Drupal, Magento, or similar CMS/eCommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
