Co-Founder Investments

RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN INVESTMENT OFFICER

Fundraising & Investor Relations:

Lead fundraising efforts, including pitch development, investor meetings, and managing relationships with current and potential investors. Ensure a strong pipeline of capital to support company growth

Business Development:

Financial Forecasting & Risk Management:

Market & Industry Analysis:

Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities that align with the companys mission and growth targets.

Team Building, Leadership & Mentorship:

Build finance and investment teams; provide leadership and mentorship to them, ensuring strong collaboration across departments to achieve business objectives.

Deal Sourcing & Execution:

Source and evaluate investment opportunities, negotiate terms, and oversee due diligence and transaction processes.

Stakeholder Communication:

Regularly communicate with stakeholders, including investors, board members, and internal teams, to provide updates on the investment portfolio, financial status, and strategic direction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in investment management, venture capital, private equity, or related financial sectors, preferably within early-stage startups
• Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and fundraising processes
• Demonstrated ability to secure and manage investments, with a successful track record of raising capital
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in managing investor relations and working with diverse stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of the market trends, financial instruments, and industry-specific investment strategies.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for entrepreneurship and high-growth ventures.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Prior startup experience is a plus, but not required.
