5–8% Equity | Against Capital Contribution or Tech Leadership TradeFolie is on a mission to help India’s traders trade smarter — not harder. We're building a performance-first analytics, journaling, and backtesting platform tailored for India’s growing community of active retail traders. We’re now looking to bring on a Co-Founder — someone who will stand shoulder to shoulder in shaping product, people, and the future of retail trading in India. Who we're looking for - You’re either: A tech-first operator who can take ownership of platform development and lead engineering efforts OR A capital-savvy business partner who’s successfully raised funding before (preferably Seed to Series A) and knows how to navigate investor networks. Ideal Background Strong grasp of capital markets , trading, or fintech (you understand the problems traders face). You’ve either: Built/led a tech product from zero to one — especially in B2C SaaS or finance Or have closed funding rounds , pitched VCs, and managed investor relations Prior experience as a founder, founding team member, or CxO in a startup is a plus Comfortable in ambiguity, obsessed with users, and biased toward action What you'll own - Product vision or GTM (depending on your strength) Team building, hiring key early contributors Institutional capital raise — we’re targeting a ₹5 Cr Seed round Long-term strategic thinking, from growth to retention to monetization What You Get 5–8% equity based on contribution (capital, tech, or strategic) True co-founder role — strategic control, decision-making, and upside A massive, underserved market in India’s retail trading ecosystem A team that values pace, candor, and performance over vanity This isn’t a role for passive advisors or part-time involvement.
