Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turning Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and programming CNC turning machines, with a strong understanding of NC programming and the ability to set up machines for production runs.

Responsibilities:

Operate CNC turning machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
Understand and interpret NC programs to set up and operate machines
Use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure optimal performance and minimize waste
Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and best practices

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating and programming CNC turning machines
Strong understanding of NC programming and ability to set up machines for production runs
Experience with precision measuring instruments and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on machinery
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
