Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain CNC Router machines for cutting, engraving, and carving on wood, MDF, and related materials. Create, edit, and prepare 2D and 3D designs using ArtCAM or similar CAD/CAM software. Convert drawings and concepts into CNC-compatible files (G-code generation). Ensure precision and quality in final output by adjusting machine settings and conducting test runs. Troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues related to CNC machine operations. Coordinate with the design and production teams for project planning and delivery. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following safety and maintenance standards. Requirements: Proven experience in operating CNC machines and using ArtCAM software. Strong understanding of woodworking materials and tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files. Familiarity with machine calibration, feed rates, and toolpaths. Attention to detail, precision, and time management skills. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Minimum 10th pass or ITI/Diploma in relevant trade preferred. Additional Skills (Preferred but not mandatory): Knowledge of other design software like CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360. Prior experience in furniture, signage, or panel designing industries. Creative design sensibility and ability to suggest improvements.
