Job Description

Job Responsibilities of a CNC Machine Operator Machine Operation Operate CNC press brake machines to perform bending operations on sheet metal and other metal components. Set up machines based on job orders, blueprints, and tooling instructions. Programming and Setup Load and edit CNC programs for specific jobs. Select appropriate tools and dies for each bending task. Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy. Quality Control Inspect workpieces during and after bending to ensure compliance with specifications using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, protractors, gauges). Perform first-article and in-process inspections. Material Handling Read and interpret engineering drawings or work orders to determine materials, dimensions, and tolerances. Load and position materials correctly on the machine. Maintenance and Safety Perform routine maintenance on machines (cleaning, lubrication, minor adjustments). Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate production records, logs, and inspection reports. Report any machine malfunctions, material defects, or quality issues to the supervisor. Collaboration Communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow. Support continuous improvement efforts in productivity and quality. Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Experience: CNC: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
