Experience & Education

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
   
2. Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in CNC Programming for VMC/HMC (Fanuc / Siemens Controller) with strong knowledge of precision machining.
   
3. Proven expertise in optimizing machining parameters such as cutting speed (Vc), feed rate (f), and depth of cut (ap, ae) to balance tool life and productivity.
   
4. Proficiency in CAD & CAM software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, and SolidWorks, including high-speed machining (HSM) and adaptive clearing strategies.
   
5. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
   

Key Responsibilities & Skills

1. Lead process validation, capability studies, and continuous improvement initiatives across new and high-volume production.
   
2. Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3- to 5-axis machining, including macro programming, probe/presetter usage, and inspection gauges.
   
3. Prepare detailed machining strategies—tool selection, tool path generation, cutting parameter optimization, and fixturing methods.
   
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, and Maintenance) to implement engineering improvements, cost savings, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and manpower optimization.
   
5. Drive lean manufacturing practices to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
   
6. Conduct process capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to reduce downtime and maximize output.
   
7. Execute and document experiments such as DOE (Design of Experiments), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and data-driven yield analysis.
   
8. Define and document process parameters, DFM, SOPs, and technical documentation for machining processes, consumables, and secondary operations.
   
9. Prepare and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), PFMEAs, and Control Plans for effective risk mitigation.
   
10. Support customer and internal audits by ensuring compliance with documentation, calibration, and traceability standards.
    
11. Track and monitor key performance metrics such as OPP (Overall Process Performance), OEE, PPH (Parts per Hour), FTQ (First Time Quality), tool usage, CPC (Cost per Component), and scrap cost.
    
12. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
