Job Description

  • Technical Consultation and Support:

  • Understand customer requirements and provide suitable hydraulic solutions, which may include selecting appropriate pumps, valves, cylinders, power units, hoses, and fittings.
  • Conduct technical discussions and provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Interpret and design basic hydraulic circuit diagrams to support customer applications.
  • Sales Process Management:

  • Generate and manage sales inquiries, leads, and follow-ups to convert them into business orders.
  • Prepare competitive quotations, proposals, and bills of material (BOQ).
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Coordination and Documentation:

  • Coordinate with internal engineering, design, and production teams for customized solutions, accurate order processing, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer and sales data.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and documentation (e.g., datasheets, technical presentations).
  • Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer objections and resolve product-related problems efficiently.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education:

    A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, E&I or a related field is typically required. Freshers can also apply.
  • Experience:

    Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or application engineering within the hydraulics or industrial equipment sector is preferred
  • Technical Knowledge:

    Strong, hands-on understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and their applications.
  • Soft Skills:

    Excellent verbal/written communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Tools:

    Proficiency in ERP and experience using CRM software
