Job Description

Role Overview: As a Manager CMI in the Marketing function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness of market research initiatives to accurately predict market and consumer behavior/trends. Your main objective will be to increase brand market share, brand health, and overall sales for each category. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring research studies, finalizing research design, executing primary and desk research, briefing external agencies, coordinating and managing external research, conducting market and consumer research through primary and secondary sources, analyzing data, and providing insights into brand teams. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the robustness of market research initiatives to predict market and consumer behavior accurately within the overall requirements of the category business plan and stipulated market research budget. - Implement and monitor research studies, finalize research design, propose methodology and location, execute primary and desk research, and prepare/review iterations for market research agencies. - Brief external agencies on research objectives, designs, questionnaire design, analysis requirements, and output format. - Coordinate and manage external research, scan for secondary sources of information to gather understanding of consumer needs and market forces. - Conduct market and consumer research through primary and secondary sources, analyze data, design and carry out consumer checks, and provide insights into brand teams. - Coordinate and conduct prelaunch assessment of renovated/new product and recommend entry strategy for new products/services. - Analyze and prepare the innovation calendar, collate other research requests, estimate costs, seek approval of budget, and prepare and deliver presentations to management team and stakeholders on outcome of studies and general consumer trends. - Check approvals for authorizations, check bills for accuracy with PO, highlight and resolve discrepancies, and make adjustments after. Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: MBA in Marketing - Experience: 5-10 years - Desired Competencies: Business orientation, Strategy/brand/consumer understanding, Handling teams and people, Statistics and design of experiments.,
