Clubhouse Manager

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for various civil engineering projects, including excavation, structural steel, foundation piles, shore piles, rock anchors, waler beams, inclined rock anchors, and waterproofing. The role involves collaborating closely with design engineers, commercial teams to ensure precise quantification, cost-effective solutions, and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Civil BOQ, Excavation BOQ, and BOQs for various structural components, including but not limited to structural steel, foundation piles, shore piles, rock anchors, waler beams, inclined rock anchors, etc.
• Review and finalize the type of waterproofing required for projects, following drawing reviews and consultations with design engineers.
• Collaborate with design engineers to review drawings, ensuring accuracy and notifying them of any discrepancies or modifications required.
• Coordinate with the Commercial team to gather BOQ inputs and resolve any queries or discrepancies.
• Review the work of subordinates involved in BOQ preparation and correct any errors or inconsistencies as necessary.
• Coordinate with structural engineers on various parameters for structural elements if required.
• Coordinate with architects to ensure accuracy in (BUA) calculations and make necessary corrections whenever required.
• Provide input and suggestions for cost-effective approaches to project requirements, exploring different options and presenting recommendations.
• Conduct thorough checks of work orders to ensure that all line items proposed in the BOQ are included, verifying consistency if any.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Civil Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the Real estate industry.
• Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities for civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of various construction materials, methods, and standards.
• Familiarity with software tools such as Autocad, Advanced Excel for quantity estimation.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative and cost-effective solutions.
