Description
We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to manage and enhance the cloud infrastructure for our Allianz Data Platform. You will focus on ensuring smooth operations, driving automation, improving performance, and staying ahead of emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in application or platform support, including 3+ years working directly with azure cloud environments You will play a key role in maintaining the availability, performance, and stability of our cloud platform, while providing timely support and guidance to internal teams. You will Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure for the Allianz Data Platform. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling. Ensure security best practices and manage related tools. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cost and performance. Identify opportunities for improving performance, reliability, and automation. Provide DevOps expertise to teams and customers. Support Robotics Platform Automation. Handle change requests and document solutions. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends. Respond to and resolve platform incidents, performance issues, and automation execution failures. Provide L1 and L2 support for cloud and UiPath-related issues including bot runtime problems, scheduling errors, queue processing delays, and system alerts. Participate in environment upgrades, patching, and migration projects between on-prem and cloud and from other automation tools Maintain and update platform documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with security and governance policies related to UiPath platform usage. Escalate critical issues to platform engineering or UiPath support as needed. Your skills Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering. Expertise in Microsoft Azure (VMs, VNet, Synapse, AKS, Storage, etc.). Experience with Robotics (UiPath Cloud) is highly desirable. Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash. Experience with IaC tools (Terraform or ARM templates). Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins or Github). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows. Familiar with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira). Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and similar. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
