About the role
The global Cloud DevOps team is responsible for the operation of all AVEVA Cloud Solutions with the goal of achieving and maintaining a monthly service availability SLA and were looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team.
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer in AVEVAs Research & Development (R&D) function, you will utilize your experience to continually improve and develop AVEVAs Cloud solutions, including release and deployment processes and pipelines, enhancing, and supporting our monitoring capabilities, and diagnosing and resolving cloud infrastructure incidents to optimize uptime and allow us to scale through repeatable and standardized work practices.
Working closely with your development and portfolio colleagues, together you will bring new solutions to the cloud following a standard framework to ensure they are operationally secure, stable, and scalable.
The global, 24x7 nature of the team means there may be a requirement for occasional work outside of the standard day and to be on call as part of a shared team rota.
In this role you
will: - Work as a part of global team providing support for different AVEVA Cloud Solutions
- Oversee relevant Cloud deployments to ensure successful implementation, track, and report progress, resolve or escalate release issues.
- Maintain clear and accurate DevOps operational documentation.
- Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members such as sprint planning and estimating; backlog refinement; daily Scrum meetings; sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
- Be responsible for deploying industrial solutions into AVEVAs cloud or at customers infrastructure.
Mandatory Competencies, Knowledge, and
Skills: - 2026 Entry level graduate in BE/BTech (Computer Science / Information Technology) with an aggregate score of 70% or above with no backlogs
- Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Good Problem Solving and Requirement understanding skills as well as a positive attitude, ability, and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
