Job Description: Cloud & DevOps Engineer

Arosys is looking for a Cloud & IT Engineer who can efficiently manage our internal IT infrastructure as well as support cloud and DevOps operations. This role requires strong skills in IT administration, networking, server management, and basic CI/CD concepts, along with hands-on experience in cloud technologies such as GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux.

The ideal candidate will support daily IT operations while also contributing to cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities1. IT & Network Operations (Mandatory)

• Manage user accounts, permissions, access issues, and day-to-day IT support tasks.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices, routing, firewall rules, and VPNs.
• Maintain internal IT systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Support both on-premise infrastructure and cloud-connected environments.
• Handle hardware troubleshooting, RDP setup, printer/network device support, and system checks.

2. System & Server Administration

• Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers and OS-level issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers.
• Set up and manage RDP, user access policies, and security controls.
• Perform server configuration, patching, backups, updates, and performance monitoring.

3. Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and optimized resource usage.
• Configure IAM, networking, compute, storage, and security components in GCP.

4. Docker & Image Management

• Build, maintain, and secure Docker images.
• Manage Docker registries and ensure container performance and security.

5. CI/CD & Automation

• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
• Exposure to tools like GitLab Runner and Google Cloud Build.
• Ability to integrate basic automation steps and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Strong skills in IT administration, Networking, RDP, User Access Management.
• Solid knowledge of firewalls, routing, VPNs, and IT security practices.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Freshers to 1 year of experience in IT, Cloud, or DevOps.
• Candidates with strong IT skills and basic cloud knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Immediate joiners preferred (Notice period: Immediate to 15–30 days).
• Ability to handle both IT operations and cloud engineering tasks.
