About The Role

We are seeking a talented

Data Engineer

to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms. The role requires strong expertise in

Databricks, PySpark, ETL pipelines, GCP services, Unity Catalog, and Terraform

. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
Implement and manage data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
Support data cataloging and governance initiatives using Unity Catalog.
Ensure data quality, performance, and security across data workflows.
Collaborate with senior architects to align with enterprise data architecture standards.
Automate infrastructure deployment and pipeline management using Terraform and CI/CD practices.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for cost and performance efficiency.

Required Skills & Expertise

3–6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, PySpark, and ETL/ELT processes.
Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
Experience with Unity Catalog for data governance and cataloging.
Hands-on with Terraform (IaC) for automation and infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of SQL and data transformation techniques.
Understanding of data architecture principles and cloud-native solutions.
Ability to work in Agile teams and collaborate across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in GCP Data Engineer or Databricks.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
