Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data infrastructure. The role involves working with large datasets, integrating data from diverse sources, and optimizing data storage and processing in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and developers to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated data pipelines, ETL processes
Develop, maintain and optimize data tables and data views in Snowflake
Work with data across multiple data sources, including Azure and AWS
Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry and BHP standardsProvide advisory on data-modelling, management, engineering to support junior team members and cross-functional teams.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with developing new data pipelines and data engineering (ETL scripts python) and experience with handling JSON, CSV files etc.,
Advanced Technical proficiency required in AWS Services, e.g. AWS Glue, AWS Batch, AWS Step Function
Experience with Azure Services, e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage.Understanding of data management, data structures, data storage, and data modelling techniques Advanced proficiency in Programming languages Python and Object Oriented Design, Powershell, Bash Scripting Skills.Extensive experience in SQL, including designing and optimizing complex queries.Working experience in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
