Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 8+ years of experience in IT with at least 3 years in cloud architecture roles.

- Strong knowledge of telecom systems including BSS, OSS, and network management.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with telecom cloud frameworks (e.g., ETSI NFV, TM Forum Open Digital Architecture).

- Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).

- Understanding of telecom protocols and standards (e.g., 3GPP, 5G core, IMS).

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- Google Professional Cloud Architect

- TOGAF Certification

- TM Forum Certifications (e.g., Frameworx, Open API)

- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

• Experience with edge computing and its applications in telecom networks

• Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in telecom such as predictive maintenance and customer analytics

• Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments and orchestration tools

• Understanding of telecom analytics platforms and data-driven decision-making

• Knowledge of open-source cloud platforms like OpenStack and Kubernetes
