Cloud Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in monitoring and analyzing security events across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Support in implementing cloud security best practices and policies.
Help with identifying and mitigating potential cloud security vulnerabilities.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.
Assist in compliance audits and documentation (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.).
Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends, threats, and tools.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and basic security concepts.
Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc. (preferred).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cloud security.

Preferred (Good to Have):

Internship or academic project related to cybersecurity or cloud technologies.
Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
