About HexaHealth

HexaHealth is one of India’s fastest-growing healthcare platforms, transforming how patients experience elective surgeries — from diagnosis to full recovery. We partner with top hospitals, surgeons, and post-op care experts to deliver seamless, personalized medical journeys.

As we scale, we are expanding our clinical excellence team to include a Clinical Nutritionist who can design, guide, and optimize nutritional care plans for patients undergoing elective surgeries — with a strong focus on bariatric, metabolic, and GLP-1–based therapies.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Nutritionist to join our multidisciplinary clinical operations team.

You will be responsible for assessing, counseling, and supporting patients through their pre- and post-operative nutritional journeys — ensuring evidence-based, outcome-driven care for bariatric surgery patients and other elective procedures (like cosmetic, orthopedic, and general surgeries).

The ideal candidate must also have a working understanding of GLP-1 agonist treatments (e.g., semaglutide, liraglutide) and their nutritional implications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed nutritional assessments and design individualized diet plans for patients undergoing elective and bariatric surgeries.
  • Guide pre-operative and post-operative dietary protocols, ensuring adherence and optimal recovery.
  • Work closely with surgeons, clinical coordinators, and patient care teams to provide integrated nutritional management.
  • Educate patients about nutritional behavior modification, supplementation, and long-term dietary maintenance.
  • Counsel patients undergoing GLP-1–based pharmacotherapy (weight management) on appropriate nutritional adjustments.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust plans, and provide ongoing follow-up support.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to patient education resources.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and guidelines in clinical nutrition, obesity management, and metabolic health.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition / Food Science from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting, preferably handling bariatric or metabolic patients.
  • Strong understanding of GLP-1 receptor agonist therapies and nutritional adaptations required for such patients.
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills; ability to connect empathetically with patients.
  • Evidence-based approach with strong documentation and follow-up discipline.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with doctors, coordinators, and patient relationship teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centric digital healthcare ecosystem.
