Clinical Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration

• Engage with client stakeholders (data managers, medical monitors, trial safety analysts, biometrics teams, etc.) to gather and refine

  business requirements

  .
• Act as the primary liaison between

  client teams

  and

  development teams

  for dashboard enhancements and feature rollouts.

Requirement Gathering & Documentation

• Conduct requirement workshops and translate needs into

  user stories

  and

  acceptance criteria

  in

  Jira

  .
• Define specifications for dashboards related to

  trial safety analytics, medical monitoring, and protocol deviations

  .

Project Coordination & Delivery Support

• Collaborate with development teams to align

  data pipelines

  with inputs (e.g.,

  Medidata Rave extractions

  , additional data sources, multiple studies).
• Partner with

  Tableau developers

  to ensure dashboards meet

  user experience (UX) best practices

  and

  client branding guidelines

  .
• Support creation of

  design documents, wireframes, and functional specifications

  .

Testing & UAT

• Develop and execute

  test scenarios and validation cases

  .
• Coordinate

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  with client stakeholders.
• Track and resolve defects to confirm alignment with expected output.
  

Agile Execution

• Maintain

  Jira boards

  , manage backlog, and participate in

  Agile ceremonies

  (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Ensure timely delivery of sprints and proactively manage risks and delays.
  

Continuous Improvement

• Identify gaps/opportunities in

  CDR dashboard capabilities

  to enhance early signal detection, safety monitoring, and oversight efficiency.
• Recommend improvements in

  data traceability, usability, scalability

  , and adoption for additional studies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters in

  Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Computer Science, or related field

  .
• Proven experience as a

  Business Analyst

  in

  clinical trials, pharma, or healthcare analytics

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Tableau, Jira, and clinical data sources (e.g., Medidata Rave)

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  clinical trial operations, medical monitoring, and regulatory expectations

  .
• Excellent communication, documentation, and client engagement skills.
