As a Sales Renewal Specialist at Oracle, you will play a crucial role in driving the renewal of MySQL Subscription contracts to existing customers. Your main responsibilities will include: - Delivering on or exceeding the assigned renewal quota. - Ensuring timely renewals for a variety of customers in an assigned territory. - Educating customers on business practices and any associated contractual implications. - Acting as a customer advocate by communicating issues, pain points, and ideas to Oracle Product Management. - Managing exceptions for customers facing issues that may hinder renewals. - Accurately forecasting business targets and renewal opportunities. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Strong track record of sales accomplishments in a quota-carrying role. - Product experience in sales of enterprise software, platform, or product. - Proven expertise in working with executive-level clients, procurement, and business owners. - Experience representing customers to internal product stakeholders. - Ability to develop compelling presentations and sales approaches. - Understanding of legal terms and common software sales contracts. - Proficiency in negotiating in challenging and collaborative sales engagements. - Ability to thrive in a high-energy, quarterly-results driven sales culture. - Team player mindset with a focus on improving organizational processes. - 3-10 years of sales experience in a technology-based company. - Bachelor's degree in Business or a technology-related discipline. - Intermediate/advanced Excel skills, along with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems. - Willingness to travel (25%+ may be required).
