Job Description

You will be joining the Client Onboarding team at Morgan Stanley as an Associate. Your role will involve performing Client Due Diligence review to support the Firm's new client onboarding and existing client regular review in compliance with regulatory program requirements such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia KYC requirements and eligibility standards. **Role Overview:** In the Operations division, you will collaborate with business units to facilitate financial transactions, establish effective controls, and nurture client relationships. Morgan Stanley, a global leader in financial services since 1935, is dedicated to evolving and innovating to better serve clients and communities in over 40 countries worldwide. **Key Responsibilities:** - Update Firm systems and databases with client information and documentation - Address inquiries and ad hoc requests from internal clients, including Compliance - Engage with business, client onboarding teams, Compliance, and Operations throughout the review life cycle - Prioritize work, handle volume spikes, ad-hoc requests, and projects to meet business demands promptly - Adapt to changes such as regulatory updates, internal policy modifications, and procedural adjustments - Contribute to process improvement initiatives like technology enhancements and operational process enhancements **Qualifications Required:** - Strong attention to detail and research skills - Effective interaction with Business Units, Compliance, and global colleagues - Independent work capability, meeting deadlines with accuracy, troubleshooting to mitigate risks - Multitasking to manage various business demands - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - Ability to handle pressure and stressful situations - Teamwork, Collaboration, Responsiveness, and accountability - Quick learning to understand policies, procedures, systems, and controls - 3 to 5 years of work experience - Preferred experience in KYC customer due diligence, control, and regulatory programs - Knowledge of global KYC/CIP requirements supporting international institutional and wealth management businesses At Morgan Stanley, you can expect a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and excellence, driven by values that prioritize clients, integrity, innovation, diversity, and inclusion.
