Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supplier management:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for both electrical and civil materials based on factors like cost, quality, and reliability. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Negotiation and contracts:
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules. Ensure all contractual documents are complete and compliant.
Project coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other teams to understand material requirements and ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and specifications.
Technical evaluation:
Review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and submittals to ensure procured items meet the required standards and quality.
Logistics and quality control:
Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Monitor performance and conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
Budget and reporting:
Manage project budgets related to materials and supplies. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and supplier performance.
Issue resolution:
Address and resolve supply chain issues, delays, or quality problems promptly.
