Civil Supervisor

As a Civil Supervisor at Knauf India's Dahej Plant, you will play a crucial role in the civil construction of delegated projects. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising the construction activities to ensure compliance with design, timeline, and HSE guidelines. You will be responsible for managing contractor and labor teams, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, and monitoring material consumption to minimize wastage. Your role will also involve maintaining QA/QC documentation, conducting quality checks, and ensuring that civil work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate strong leadership skills, people management capabilities, and a commitment to safety and quality. You should have a solid understanding of civil construction practices, materials, and structural elements, as well as the ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as IS codes and NBC is essential. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required, and additional languages are a plus. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree and have a proven track record of at least 5 years of professional experience. Experience in the gypsum sector, familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera, and the ability to maintain site records and ensure proper approvals and inspections are valuable assets.
