Civil Estimator

As a skilled Civil Estimator at the US-based company in India, your role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Conducting quantity take-offs and pricing analysis for commercial construction projects - Analyzing bid specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates - Reviewing plans and specifications, analyzing cost data, historical trends, and market conditions to prepare competitive estimates - Collaborating with project managers to ensure estimates meet client expectations - Creating project schedules based on estimated costs and completion times - Preparing proposals and bid packages for bid review meetings - Maintaining accurate records of estimates and bids - Assisting in the development of project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking systems To excel in this role, you should have: - Diploma, bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management - Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) preferred - Previous experience as a Commercial Civil Estimator - Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD - Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and floor plans - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment This full-time position based in Ahmedabad offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and supportive work environment.
