Role Summary:

The Civil Engineering Officer will support the planning, execution, and maintenance of civil infrastructure within the manufacturing facility. This role involves hands-on supervision of construction activities, coordination with contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Site & Infrastructure Management:

- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of plant buildings, roads, drainage systems, and utility structures.

- Monitor civil repair works and ensure timely execution with minimal disruption to operations.

- Support layout planning for new installations and expansions.

Project Execution & Supervision:

- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for civil construction and renovation activities.

- Ensure adherence to design specifications, safety norms, and quality standards.

- Track project progress and report deviations or delays to senior engineers.

Documentation & Compliance:

- Maintain records of civil works, drawings, permits, and inspection reports.

- Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and work schedules.

- Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

| Technical Knowledge | Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction practices |

| AutoCAD & MS Office | Familiarity with drafting tools and documentation software |

Qualifications:

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in civil maintenance or construction within a manufacturing or industrial setup.

Preferred Attributes:

- Exposure to industrial safety standards and ISO documentation.

- Experience with preventive maintenance planning.

- Willingness to work in a dynamic, plant-based environment.
