Hydraulic Sales & Application Engineer

Preferred candidate profile -

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new clients in industrial, manufacturing, and OEM sectors.
• Generate inquiries, for Hydraulic Power Packs, Cylinder, Valves, Pumps follow up on leads, and convert them into business orders.
• Conduct client visits, meetings, and technical discussions.

2. Technical Support & Application Engineering

• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable hydraulic components or system solutions.
• Prepare BOQ, product selection, and cost estimation.
• Design basic hydraulic circuits and support integration in customer applications.
• Coordinate with internal design/production teams for customized systems.

3. Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain professional relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
• Handle troubleshooting and on-site support when necessary.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare quotations, proposals, datasheets, and technical presentations.
• Maintain customer visit reports, sales pipeline, and order forecast.
• Support tender documentation, pricing, and contract follow-up.

• Strong understanding of hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, power packs, hoses, and fittings.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams.
• Hands-on knowledge of hydraulic troubleshooting & system commissioning (added advantage).

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Min 2 years of experience in Hydraulic Sales, Application, or Service Engineering.
• Experience working with industrial or Mobile OEM clients is preferred.
