Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and oversee the construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water supply systems.
Prepare and review project plans, designs, and specifications.
Conduct site surveys, investigations, and inspections.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for civil engineering projects.
Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Provide technical support and guidance during construction phases.
Review construction processes to ensure quality control and compliance with specifications.
Analyse project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in civil engineering design, construction, or project management.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with local building codes, environmental laws, and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional certification.
Experience in a specialized area of civil engineering
