Civil Engineer

Position Summary: The Civil Engineering Design Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects. This role involves producing detailed engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with other disciplines to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable designs. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed civil and structural design drawings using AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or similar software. Perform design calculations for foundations, drainage systems, roads, and structural components. Review project specifications, building codes, and engineering standards. Prepare cost estimates, technical reports, and project documentation. Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy. Conduct site visits for data collection, design validation, and progress reviews. Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and environmental standards. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 1–5 years of relevant design experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D, or Revit. Strong knowledge of structural analysis, hydraulics, and soil mechanics. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
