Civil Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer cum Urban Designer to join our team. The role involves planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects with a focus on sustainable urban development and land utilisation. The candidate should be capable of handling both the technical and design aspects of real estate/urban planning projects, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise land development and infrastructure projects.
• Create urban layouts, plot designs, and master plans for residential/commercial projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site analysis, and prepare technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and project managers.
• Incorporate sustainable and innovative urban design principles.
• Estimate project costs, materials, and timelines.
• Monitor site work progress and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Urban Design/Planning preferred).
• Proven experience in civil engineering and urban/land design.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and other design tools.
• Understanding of urban planning regulations and development control rules.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dum Dum, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
