Job Description: Civil Engineer – Construction Site

Role Overview

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising, executing, and monitoring all civil construction activities at the site in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety norms. This role requires close coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site execution activities related to civil and structural works.
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and approved method statements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project management team to resolve technical/site issues.
• Prepare daily progress reports, checklists, and maintain site documentation.
• Monitor work progress against schedule and report delays or deviations.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship to meet project standards.
• Ensure implementation of safety norms and environmental guidelines at site.
• Verify measurements and assist in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ) and contractor bills.
• Assist in managing resources such as manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently.
• Support senior engineers and project managers in overall site coordination.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–6 years of site execution experience in civil engineering (preferably in railway/metro/infrastructure projects).
• Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, structural works, and finishing activities.
• Familiarity with project specifications, drawings, and standard codes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD; knowledge of MS Project/Primavera is an advantage.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
