CIVIL Design / Site engineer (STP's and ETP's)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Design / Site Engineer who has a strong command over the design and detailing of STPs, ETPs, and other environmental infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in civil engineering design, structural drawings, and integration with mechanical and process components of treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop layout plans, civil and structural drawings for STPs, ETPs, and biofertilizer units.
• Work closely with process engineers and mechanical designers to integrate civil components with overall plant design.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), construction drawings, and structural calculations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety norms.
• Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project delivery.
• Modify and update designs based on project requirements or site feedback.
• Provide cost estimation and civil input for tender documentation or client proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in designing STPs, ETPs, or environmental infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D or other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of civil construction practices, water retaining structures, RCC/structural design.
• Knowledge of IS codes, CPHEEO guidelines, and environmental norms.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and process layouts.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with modular STP/ETP designs.
• Exposure to biofertilizer plant design or composting facility layouts.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and BIM is an added advantage.
