About the Role

We are seeking a visionary CTO to lead the digital and technological transformation of Upmarkt’s e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in building scalable e-commerce systems, ensuring seamless customer experience, and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end technology strategy and architecture for the e-commerce business.

Develop scalable, secure, and innovative e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, and backend systems.

Drive AI, automation, and data analytics initiatives to optimize business operations.

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams for seamless integration.

Oversee cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and cloud solutions.

Build and mentor a high-performing tech team aligned with business goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering

8+ years in technology leadership roles, with proven experience in e-commerce platforms.

Expertise in cloud computing, AI/ML, and mobile-first architecture.

Strong problem-solving, innovation mindset, and ability to drive transformation.
