Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the technical vision and architecture for the Web3/metaverse platform.
• Lead the development and deployment of decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and blockchain protocols.
• Build and scale immersive experiences in the metaverse (VR/AR/XR).
• Oversee full-stack development across blockchain, frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
• Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing tech team (engineering, DevOps, security).
• Evaluate and implement the best blockchain protocols, tools, and Web3 frameworks (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, IPFS, etc.).
• Ensure platform security, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to align technology with business goals.
• Drive innovation and stay ahead of emerging trends in blockchain, XR, AI, and decentralization.

Requirements:Technical Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2–3 years in blockchain/web3 development.
• Strong experience with blockchain protocols (Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, etc.), smart contracts (Solidity, Rust), and dApp architecture.
• Proficient in Web3 tools and libraries (e.g., web3.js, ethers.js, Hardhat, Truffle).
• Deep understanding of tokenomics, NFTs, DAOs, and DeFi systems.
• Experience with immersive/metaverse platforms and 3D engines (Unity, Unreal, WebXR, Three.js) is a plus.
• Strong backend (Node.js, Go, Rust) and frontend (React, Next.js, TypeScript) experience.
• Familiarity with decentralized storage (IPFS, Arweave), Layer 2 solutions, and zero-knowledge proofs is a bonus.

Leadership & Strategic Thinking:

• Proven experience leading engineering teams or technology departments.
• Ability to set technical direction, make strategic decisions, and manage resources effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for decentralization, open source, and the Web3 ethos.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in startups or scaling tech platforms from 0 to 1.
• Previous CTO/founding engineer experience in Web3 or gaming/metaverse projects.
• Understanding of token launch strategies, audits, and smart contract security.
