Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Officer. The Chief Officer will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the ship, ensuring safety protocols are followed, supervising crew members, managing cargo operations, and maintaining navigational watches. The Chief Officer will also work closely with the captain to implement company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Extensive knowledge of maritime laws and regulations
• Experience in ship operations and cargo management
• Proficient in navigation and ship handling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Officer or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or related field is preferred
• Valid Chief Officer certification and relevant maritime licenses
