Job Description

As the Chief of Staff for the MDs office, you will leverage your experience and savvy to lead our teams in developing and delivering on our strategic, operational, and transformational plans, continuously driving to a higher bar of delivery, performance, and quality. You will use your excellent communication, planning, execution, and collaboration skills to bring clarity and focus in times of change and challenge. Youll be innovative and adaptable, able to lean into the details while keeping the big picture in sight. Whatever the challenge, youll always be looking for ways we can do things better.

What youll do

Facilitate and contribute to the Blackbaud Indias strategic, operational, and transformational planning aligned to Blackbauds corporate strategy and goals. Collaborate with the team in the definition, execution, and successful delivery of our long-range plan (LRP), annual operating plan (AOP), and departmental goals.

Partner with other operations teams across the organization to drive the evolution and execution of our workforce strategy to cultivate diverse, high-performing teams and challenge team members to transform their skills to meet future demands.

Act as a change manager for transformational and strategic initiatives, focusing on the people side of change by creating and implementing change management strategies and plans to maximize employee engagement and adoption while mitigating resistance.

Foster a culture that leverages metrics to make informed decisions and guide change.

Organize and optimize key departmental activities including staff meetings, quarterly offsite meetings, and monthly operating reviews.

Develop and manage communication strategy (including forums such as All Hands, staff meetings, email, etc.) to ensure significant updates, topics, and changes are cascaded and effective feedback mechanisms are provided.

Manage strategic or complex initiatives to predictably and efficiently deliver opportunities for improvement across people, process, and technology.

Organize, manage, and influence key tactical initiatives that drive the organization towards standards and improved, highly optimized processes. Sensitivity:

What youll bring

12+ years experience, preferably in a Strategy and Operations role in a Global Capability Center and/or Software organization

Proven experience in strategic planning, operational management, and transformational initiatives.

Demonstrated ability to establish and leverage operational effectiveness data and metrics.

Practical experience with agile methodologies required, detailed planning ability a must.

Strong organizational and planning skills

Excellent communication, execution, and collaboration skills
