Chief Integration Architect

➡️Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Integration Strategy

➡️Define the enterprise-wide integration vision, roadmap, and architectural blueprint leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

Establish and enforce API-led connectivity, application network patterns, and integration best practices.

➡️Align integration strategy with digital transformation, cloud adoption, and modernization programs.

2 Architecture Design & Governance

➡️Lead the design of end-to-end integration architectures including APIs, microservices, data flows, and connectivity models.

Govern API development lifecycle, versioning standards, and reusable asset libraries.

➡️Oversee architecture reviews, solution designs, and compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards.

3. Technical Leadership

➡️Serve as the hands-on technical authority for MuleSoft APIs, flows, connectors, RTF/CloudHub, API Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.

➡️Provide guidance to architects, developers, and integration teams on design patterns, integration styles, and platform capabilities.

➡️Mentor teams on best practices in API-led architecture, Event-driven architecture (EDA), and microservices.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

➡️Partner with CIO, enterprise architects, product owners, and delivery leads to drive integration outcomes.

➡️Communicate architectural decisions, risks, and trade-offs to business and technical stakeholders.

Work closely with security, data governance, and infrastructure teams.

5. Platform Ownership & Optimization

➡️Oversee MuleSoft platform operations, capacity planning, and cost optimization.

Ensure high availability, resilience, scalability, and performance of integration solutions.

➡️Evaluate and introduce new MuleSoft features, accelerators, connectors, and automation capabilities.

➡️Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

➡️18+ years of IT experience with 14+ years in enterprise integration, API architecture, and middleware.

➡️Deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including:

API Manager

Anypoint Studio

RAML/RESTful API Design

CloudHub (1.0/2.0), RTF, Mule runtimes

DataWeave, Connectors, MUnit

Strong understanding of:

Integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven)

Leadership & Soft Skills

Proven experience in leading architecture for large-scale integration programs.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

Ability to propose strategic integration solutions and justify architectural choices.
