Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for the strategic financial direction of the company. The CFO oversees all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, risk management, and financial planning. They ensure financial health and regulatory compliance while supporting sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and execute the companys financial strategy aligned with overall business goals.
  
• Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, risk, and investment strategies.
  
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes.
  

• Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  
• Maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures.
  

• Operational Efficiency

• Evaluate and optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency.
  
• Manage the finance, accounting, audit, and tax functions.
  
• Implement financial technologies and tools to enhance accuracy and decision-making.
  

• Risk Management

• Identify and manage financial risks to the organization.
  
• Oversee corporate insurance policies and risk mitigation strategies.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
  

• Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational objectives.
  
• Represent the company in negotiations with investors, financial institutions, and auditors.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
  
• MBA, CPA, or CMA designation (preferred).
  
• 20+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 10 years in a senior finance or CFO role.
  
• Deep understanding of corporate financial law, compliance, and risk management practices.
  
• Proficiency with financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, modeling tools).
  
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
