Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute long-term business strategy for Paper & Chemical, units.
• Identify new business opportunities, product lines, and expansion areas.
• Drive organizational transformation, automation, and efficiency improvements.

2. Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end operations of all units ensuring productivity, cost control, and quality.
• Monitor plant performance, OEE, yield, energy consumption, and process efficiencies.
• Ensure smooth coordination between production, maintenance, SCM, quality, and sales teams.

3. Financial & Commercial Management

• Own the P&L of all business verticals.
• Ensure optimum budgeting, cost rationalization, and capex planning.
• Monitor sales revenue, margins, working capital, and overall financial health.

4. Compliance, Safety & Sustainability

• Ensure all statutory and environmental compliances across units.
• Drive safety standards, audits, and zero-incident culture.
• Promote sustainability practices including energy efficiency, waste management, and green initiatives.

5. People Leadership

• Provide direction and leadership to unit heads, HODs, and cross-functional teams.
• Build a high-performance culture, develop talent pipelines, and ensure succession planning.
• Foster transparency, discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

6. Stakeholder Management

• Report to the Director / Chairman/Board on performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with government bodies, vendors, industry associations, and local authorities.
• Represent the company externally.

Experience Required

• 2025+ years of experience in Manufacturing / Chemical / Paper industry
• At least 810 years in senior leadership roles (CEO / VP Operations / Business Head)

• B.E./B.Tech – Chemical Engineering (Preferred)
• MBA / PGDM (Operations / Strategy / General Management)
