Job Description

Role & responsibilities Key Machine Experience: Bleaching Machines : Stenter, Soft flow, chain mercerizing machine, Sizing Dyeing Machines : Winch dyeing, HT-HP Dyeing, Jigger machines Finishing Machines : Stenter machines, Calendaring, Sanforizing Printing Machines : Flatbed, Rotary screen printing Boilers and Utilities : FBC Steam Boiler Thermax Make 3 Oil-Based Thermic Boilers Air compressors, cooling towers, chilling plants Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the entire Engineering Department including Mechanical, Electrical, Utilities & Maintenance Supervise a team of skilled engineers and technicians across shifts Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to ensure zero downtime Oversee and optimize operations of boilers , thermic fluid heaters , compressors , and utilities Coordinate and manage all Electrical Maintenance including HT/LT panels, transformers, and power distribution systems Ensure proper functioning of ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and compliance with environmental norms Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives across utility operations Handle liaison work with all statutory and government authorities such as: GPCB (Gujarat Pollution Control Board) Boiler Inspector Electrical Inspector CGWA (Central Ground Water Authority) O ther relevant government agencies Drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in engineering processes Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and ISO/other quality systems Preferred candidate profile Must have handled engineering functions in a textile manufacturing environment including Bleaching, Dyeing, Finishing, and Printing operations Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering
