PPC Manager

Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Production Planning Analyze order forecasts and develop monthly, weekly, and daily production plans. Calculate and allocate resources (manpower, machines, raw materials) based on capacity and priority. Prepare and maintain production schedules, T&A calendars, and critical path timelines. 2. Coordination & Execution Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, and design teams for order confirmation and planning inputs. Liaise with production supervisors and department heads to ensure schedule adherence. Monitor and adjust production plans in response to delays, raw material issues, or urgent orders. 3. Monitoring & Control Track WIP (Work in Progress) at each stage cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing. Ensure timely procurement of fabrics, trims, and accessories to prevent production halts. Identify bottlenecks, analyze deviations from plans, and initiate corrective actions. 4. MIS & Reporting Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, efficiency trackers, and capacity utilization data. Maintain records of order status, line loading plans, and shipment tracking. Present insights to management for decision-making and process improvements. 5. Cost & Inventory Control Optimize material usage and reduce wastage. Work with the inventory team to ensure stock levels are aligned with production needs. Support efforts to improve productivity and reduce lead times. 6. Compliance & Quality Ensure planning supports on-time delivery of quality-approved goods. Coordinate with the quality control team to preemptively address quality concerns. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of textile/garment production processes. Proficiency in Excel, SAP system. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Leadership and team coordination abilities. MBA or PG Diploma in Operations/Production Management (preferred).
