Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Accountant, located in Mumbai. The Chief Accountant will oversee financial operations, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating audit processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and implementing financial controls and procedures. Additionally, the Chief Accountant will guide and supervise accounting staff, engage in financial forecasting, and support strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen with experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• 5-12 Years of experience in Accounting role
• Proficiency in coordinating audit processes and maintaining accurate financial records
• Experience in implementing financial controls and procedures
• Skills in guiding and supervising accounting staff and engaging in financial forecasting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience in the logistics or project cargo industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
